Input images

For creation of the 3D models in the program GentleDraw at first you are preparing in the external editor the b/w picture of the prototype of model. It is possible to use also scanned image. The optimum size of image is approximately 400õ400 points. At the greater size the time for processing is increased, at the smaller size can the quality will worsen.

Create 3D Model

For transformation of image in the 3D model, press the button "3D" (From Menu: Tools=>Image=>Make Model 3D). After transformation, from raster image is got vector model. The time of transformation depends on the size and complexity of input image.

Properties of the 3D Model

In the Properties Inspector you can change properties of the 3D Model:
- the size of model in percents concerning the size after vector converting;
- type of models surface (Texture or Color);
- corners of turn for model concerning axes X, Y, Z;
- scale of the sizes of model on width, height and length;
- type, color and size of the models border.

Create Animation

For create animation, select Animation window. At the centre of the Animation window the white rectangular will appear. This is animation screen.Use Properties Inspector for change properties of the animation. You can modify:
- set size of animation screen;
- select 3D model for animation;
- select route for moving 3D model;
- set type of background for animation screen;
- set type of canvas for animation windows.
Finally, you can save animation as animated GIF.
